The WI meet on the second Thursday of the month, in Scott Court at 7.30pm.

Most meetings have a speaker or demonstrator on a wide variety of topics – ranging from crafts, local history, current affairs, cookery etc. Competitions, quizzes, fund raising efforts all add to the interest of the meeting. There is an annual outing to a local place of interest and a Christmas party.

The WI is a great way to make new friends and is open to all women of all ages and backgrounds. We currently have members from a wide age range, both new to the village and born here, linked together by our enthusiasm for good company, finding out about new things and having a good night out at least every month. Visitors are welcome to come along to any meeting and find out more.
