| Feast Week 2010 |
Plans are well underway for this years Feast Week celebrations. Feast Week 2010 runs from Thursday 24th June - Sunday 4th July. New events this year will include a classic car procession through the village with the cars stopping at the Brookands Centre, a Yoga session, plus many more. There will be plenty of old favourites as well including the Duck Race, Memory Lane, Beer Festival in the Church, Feast Beast 7 mile race, Beading Workshop, Photographic Exhibition and much, much more.... |
| Dawn Walk 2010 |
The fourth annual Dawn Walk takes place on Saturday 15th May. The Walk commences at The Glebe to the rear of Sutton Church at some ungodly hour of the morning, so the starting point is quite appropriate. As usual all donations go to Cancer Research UK. | There are 5 Books in the History of Sutton series (Produced by Sutton Feast Committee. As Time Goes By - A pictorial history of Sutton through the ages. Open All Hours - a history of the Shops and Businesses that have been in the village. Harold Painters Book written over 20 years ago about life in the village. Time Gentleman Please - A brief history of the Public Houses that used to be in the village. A Walk Down Memory Lane - List of events happening in the village that goes up to the present day. Books cost £2.50 each with postage in the UK at £1 and £2 for anywhere else in the World. All cheques to be drawn on a UK bank and paid in Sterling.
